LarpLens has no accounts, no analytics and no ads. To show a verdict it has to look up the coin you're viewing, and that lookup is the only data that leaves your browser.
What the extension handles
LarpLens runs only on DexScreener, pump.fun, GMGN and Birdeye. On those sites it reads the URL of your tab to find the coin's or trading pair's address. It doesn't read anything else on the page, and it never asks for your wallet, keys or signatures.
Where the address goes
- The LarpLens server. The coin's address goes to a small server, hosted on Cloudflare, which asks Larpcheck for its verdict and passes the answer back. Your IP address reaches this server as with any web request, and is used momentarily to limit how many requests one connection can make. We don't keep logs of lookups. Answers are cached for about a minute by coin, with nothing about who asked.
- Larpcheck. Larpcheck receives the coin's address from our server, not from you, and doesn't see your IP address through this lookup.
- DexScreener. DexScreener's URLs name a trading pair, not a coin. On that site your browser asks DexScreener's API which coin the pair belongs to, so DexScreener sees that request and your IP address, as it does when you use its site.
What stays in your browser
The extension keeps recent answers in memory so it doesn't ask twice, for up to an hour, and Chrome clears them when it stops the extension's background process. It saves nothing to disk and sets no cookies.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your data, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or use it for anything other than showing you the verdict. Our use of this data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
This website
This site runs no analytics or third-party scripts and sets no cookies. Our hosting providers process ordinary request data, such as IP addresses, to serve the pages and protect them from abuse.
Links to other sites
The badge links to Larpcheck, so that you can read the evidence behind a verdict. Sites you open that way have their own privacy policies, and starting a check or opening a report there is between you and them.
Removing it
Uninstall the extension and all of this stops. There's no account to delete, because we hold nothing tied to you.
Changes and contact
When this policy changes, the date above changes with it. For questions, use the support tab on LarpLens's Chrome Web Store listing.
